CPRD Youth Cheer

Newberg youth Cheer

Welcome to NYC Cheer

We’re kicking off an exciting new chapter for youth cheer in Newberg with updated programs, fresh energy, and a renewed focus on building a strong, sustainable team from the ground up. Whether your athlete is new to cheer or returning with experience, this year is all about reconnecting with the joy of cheering—performing, growing, and bonding together as a team.

We’ve teamed up with Tumblebears, a respected name in local gymnastics and tumbling instruction, to bring even more skill-building opportunities to our athletes. And alongside their coaching support, CPRD is investing in community connections, special guests, and seasonal programming to help our team shine.

This season, we’re stepping away from competition—but not from challenge. Our focus is on building a team that athletes can be proud of: strong in spirit, skill, and connection. This is how we grow toward a future competitive return—by investing in the foundation now.

And that foundation goes even further. NYC Cheer is proud to be a feeder program for Newberg High School Cheer. Our goal is to prepare young athletes for future success at the high school level by helping them develop solid fundamentals, a strong work ethic, and a love for the sport that lasts.

Both fall and winter programs will emphasize skills, teamwork, and fun—giving athletes the chance to train hard, perform big, and take pride in being part of something special. This season is just the beginning—and we’re so glad you’re here.
