Park playground updates for week of Oct. 27

Updated Oct. 31:

Happy Halloween! The slide at Friends' Park has been pushed to Monday, in order to give the concrete one more day to set. 

Updated Oct. 30:

Installation of the overhead bars at Tom Gail Park has been delayed until after this week but will continue as soon as weather will allow.

The slide at Friends' Park should be open for use again by the end of this week.

Park playground updates for the week of Oct. 27

Parks staff will be replacing and updating some playground features this week, and we want to keep parents aware of what to expect. Here is what's going on:

Friends' Park - The slide will be replaced. Weather permitting, this should be completed in just one day - Monday.

Tom Gail Park - The stepper will be replaced with overhead bars (a.k.a. monkey bars).
