Nick was born and raised in Oregon and attended Linfield University. It there, he said, "where I first saw just how special Yamhill County is."
Nick is Director of Operations and Business Development at Forest Hills Farms, Inc. His past roles include HR and Compliance Manager; Vineyard Manager; High School Tennis Coach; English teacher in Murcia, Spain; and Park Tech for Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District.
Nick has also served Vice President of the Newberg Pickleball Club, and is former Chairman of the CPRD Pickleball Citizens' Advisory Committee; he transitioned to Board Liaison in July 2025.
He has served as Industry advisor for the Portland Community College’s Highschool Equivalency Program, which provides opportunities for farmer workers to get obtain GEDs. Nick is also a member of the Oregon Wine Board’s Research Committee.
"I feel very lucky to be part of the Board, given that I very much love the Newberg/Dundee community and parks and recreation," he said. "I have always played an important role in my life. My favorite ways to get out and enjoy our district's amenities are running around our parks, especially Ewing Young, and playing pickleball at Jaquith Park. Outside of work and parks and rec, I love traveling and spending time with my family and friends."
Nick is engaged and says he is "soon to be married to my incredible fiancé Chandler.
