Bob & Crystal Rilee Park Trails

Time to get back on the trail! Rilee Park will reopen trails to horseback riders on Saturday,  April 27th. Trail use is limited to hikers during the wet months of the year in order to protect the integrity of the trail surfaces. Thank you for your patience.

Walkers and hikers are permitted on all trails year-round. Note that no bicycles are permitted in the park, including mountain bikes, and motorized or electric bikes. Horseback riding is not permitted during the rainy season (Seasonal restrictions effective Oct. 1, 2023) CPRD Parks staff will assess conditions in spring and announce then when horses may return to the trails.

Effective Nov. 1, 2023: Bicycles (e.g. mountain bikes) will no longer be permitted at this park. Trails will be open to hikers (pedestrians) and horseback riders (equestrians) only going forward after that date. This was based on a decision that the Board of Directors passed at their meeting on Sept. 28th; the motion included direction to staff to find a different location suitable for mountain bikers.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From 99W, turn onto Haugen Road (right if driving north; left is driving south) and drive 2 miles to the stop sign, where Haugen intersects with Parrett Mt. Road. Turn right onto Parrett Mt. Road. After 1.5 miles, you will reach the small parking lot/trailer pull out on your right, in a wooded area. Look for the CPRD rules and regulations trailhead sign, in the northwest corner of the lot. This is the only access point to this trail where horse trailer parking/loading/unloading is available.

Hours are daily, dawn to dusk.

Please note the Google map is based on the farmhouse address. The trailhead is half a mile before the farmhouse.
