Vacancies on Budget Committee - Apply now!

Chehalem Park and Recreation District (CPRD) Budget Committee has two vacancies:
- Vacancy for a new term beginning Jan. 22, 2026 and expiring January 2029;
- Vacancy to finish a vacated term, which expires January 2028.
Terms are from when appointed--anticipated agenda item for Board of Directors meeting on Jan. 22, 2026--through January 2029. Committee members are appointed by the Board of Directors.
In order to be eligible to serve on the Budget Committee, a candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a registered voter, and live within the geographic boundaries of the District.
Applications must be received by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026. Applications may be downloaded at cprdnewberg.org. Completed applications may be submitted by email to the Public Information Office or dropped off at the CPRD Administration Office at 125 S. Elliott Road in Newberg.
