CPRD Newberg Old Fashioned Festival 5K Run/Walk

Chehalem Park and Recreation District’s 2023 Old Fashioned Festival 5K Run/Walk took place Sunday, July 30, at the SW corner of Memorial Park on 5th and Blaine Streets.

All ages are welcome!  Door prizes  will be given out immediately following the race. Ribbons will be awarded to first place in a variety of age groups with medals for the fastest male and female participants.  Fee is $15 per runner with proceeds supporting local youth track and cross country programs. Registration:             

• Online registration preferred (link above).  Walk up day of race registration also available and begins at 8:00 am at race site.  Registration also available at the Aquatic Center (1802 Haworth Ave) prior to day of run.  Registration and start line are at the SW corner of Memorial Park, West 5th Street and Blaine Street.  Race begins promptly at 9:00 am.

• Proceeds benefit CPRD Youth Sport Program Scholarship Fund

Course:                      

• The course is on paved roads with some rolling hills and is an out and back along 5th Street and Dayton Avenue from Memorial Park
