CARE is supervised by qualified leaders and leaders in training with a minimum of one leader per every fifteen school-age children (1 to 10 for our kindergarten/preschool site). Our leaders are carefully screened, including background checks. Some of our leaders are trained childcare professional, and some are high school or college students interested in a career in childcare or a related field. There is at least one person over the age of 18 at each site that is certified in first aid and CPR.
We are always interested in improving this program to better serve the families of the Newberg/Dundee area and welcome your comments about how our staff is doing. If you have questions or suggestions to make our program better, please talk to your site leader or the CARE program coordinator or submit feedback online on this webpage. Every few months we will send home a program evaluation sheet with your child. Please take a few minutes to complete this form and return it to your site leader or the registration office at 1802 Haworth Avenue in Newberg, OR 97132.
On non-school days, we often offer all-day CARE with excursions.

2. Annually, CARE seeks volunteers to help with the Old Fashioned Festival parade float. Check back in spring 2012 for details.
