Chehalem Park and Recreation District Serving Newberg & Dundee, Oregon since 1967

CPRD Dog Park

Hours are 7 a.m. to dusk.

The dog park at Ewing Young Historical Park opened Dec. 6, 2010. This latest Chehalem Park and Recreation District amenity features a fenced open area for dogs of all sizes.

The park is approximately two acres, split into two sections - one for large dogs and one for small and shy dogs. The fenced area is off-leash.

There are large oak logs to keep dogs interested and for owners to sit. Water is available. There is a station for waste collection materials and disposal.

Friends of the dog park have a fan page for the park on Facebook. (This is not run by nor affiliated with CPRD.)

Ewing Young Historical Park is also home to famous Chehalem Skate Park, a BMX track and a disc golf course.
